Isn’t the Unabomber considered a terrorist rather than a serial or spree killer (or mass murderer)?
He somewhat fits the description of the disorganized killer but he planned his crimes very well.
Also, from what I understand, he is considered very intelligent. His crimes, for the most part, were vaguely political in nature.
Of course, I could be wrong (never!) but I have never seen reference to Kaczynski in any literature about serial or spree killers.
Unless, of course, you count those speculations that the Unabomber and the Zodiac are the same person…
I have a hobby. I have the world’s largest collection of seashells. I keep it scattered on beaches all over the world. Maybe you’ve seen some of it.

That’s why he would fall into the “mixed” category. He had organized and disorganized traits.
I can only sing the Green Jello song, “Cereal Killers” when reading this thread.

Having known several serial killers, I’m amazed at how wrong the popular image of these people is. Sophisticated intelligent fictional killers like Hannibal Lechter or Patrick Bateman are the exact opposite of real serial killers. Wayne Knight would be a more realistic casting choice than Anthony Hopkins or Christian Bale.
Would these be acquantances, clients or colleagues?
