No, their basic premise is that the reason the US government is an oppressive socialist tyranny is because it is part of the slide to prepare to hand us all over to the NWO. The reason they run around in the woods in military regalia is to prepare themselves for the big fight with the forces of the (in their minds) illegitimate US government and the UN. After which they re-establish the US government the way it was when first established and is supposed to be.
The funny bit about this, to me at least, is that most of the founding fathers were freemasons. How do you suppose masonic symbols wound up on the great seal?
That’s why we’ll have a world wide democracy with an internationally elected world president. Each country can still have its own little president for its own little petty affairs, but each national leader would still be subordinate to the Worldwide Government.

New World Order were an eighties band formed by the survivig members of Joy Divison, who wrote such hits as “Blue Monday”, wqhich was te biggest selling 7 1/2" record of all time. Th-…, oops that’s New Order. New World Order were a sub-divison of the now defunct WCW wrestling franchise.

Seriously, I think there’s the “new world order” that Bush mentioned in a speech, and then there’s the New World Order of the conspiracy theorists. Isn’t it something to do with the Illuminati?
Years before I had heard this phrase as the chief bugbear of the lunatic far right.
Then when Bush I started proclaiming it, I couldn’t believe my ears. Did this man have no common sense? Why would he deliberately feed the lunatics?
So either he, and the whole rest of his administration, had no clue about the ulterior significance of the phrase … or he was deliberately poking a stick into a hornet’s nest.
