While trying not to deliberately do it, have a near death experience. It is amazing how much life can be taken for granted ---

1. Spend some time in the hospital with a serious illness. OR 2. Spend some time with a child in the hospital with a serious illness. Nothing proves the value of life to a person more quickly than a little kid crying because the IV in his arm hurts as much as the pain associated with his illness. On the good side, everyone should also experience a child’s spontaneous hug/kiss/“I love you”. ---
