What experiences do you think everyone should go through?

Just because you happen to flip burgers at McDonalds, doesn’t mean you don’t have job skills training OR a higher education. It could simply mean that you need the extra [measly] money for whatever reason. Don’t presume that all fast-food workers are losers who don’t go to college.

And as for the OP:
I think that everyone should experience being disabled, gay, poor and of an underprivilaged race for a day. Not all in the same day, of course. Eh, you know what I mean.

Everyone should have a fantastic first kiss.

I did

A green Flash.

Is it just me or does anyone else think this is just a “Look what I had to go through” thread?

While trying not to deliberately do it, have a near death experience.

It is amazing how much life can be taken for granted

Well, yes. But how else are people supposed to know what experiences they felt benefitted them?

  1. Spend some time in the hospital with a serious illness. OR
  2. Spend some time with a child in the hospital with a serious illness.

Nothing proves the value of life to a person more quickly than a little kid crying because the IV in his arm hurts as much as the pain associated with his illness.

On the good side, everyone should also experience a child’s spontaneous hug/kiss/“I love you”.

a total solar eclipse

Is this a “do as I say” thing or have you actually done it?
