A friend’s recent [side-by-side comparison](http://www.worldwiderant.com/archives/002183.html) of Condoleeza Rice and _the Brain_ made me think of other famous folks who resemble cartoon characters. When I was a kid I always thought that ubquitous octogenarian [Burt Mustin](http://www.spookytoms.com/TR-BurtMustin.JPG) bore a frightening resemblance to Looney Tunes’ [Bashful Buzzard](http://www.nonstick.com/wpics/sf_beaky.jpg), and that Alabama’s Senator [Howell Heflin](http://www.bsc.edu/communications/news/images/heflin.jpg) had a physical resemblance and was vocally identical to [Foghorn Leghorn](http://www.toonopedia.com/foghorn.jpg). Who are some other tooniversal doppelgangers for real people? ---

Well, (former?) Texas politician Phil Gramm bears a striking resemblance to Kermit the Frog. ---

Patrick Warburton looks like the Tick. Also, he played the live action Tick, so I guess that’s appropriate. George W. Bush looks like the ferret/weasel from the Budweiser commercials. It’s a rather creepy similarity. ---
