Any unmarried premier-league footballer who’s currently doing really well at the game. I know sod all (heh) about football, so can’t name anyone, but it would definitely be good for young men and teenagers and for any other footballers who might be gay. When Justin Fashanu came out in the eighties he was pilloried so much - by the press and by his family, who disowned him - that he committed suicide. It’d be great for someone to come out now and all that _not_ to happen. One of the girls from High School Musical type films would be a good lesbian role model too, if she came out in a calm, happy way, rather than poor old Lindsay Lohan’s messed-up drunken way. Jacqueline Wilson, writer. Lots of young girls look up to her and love her books, and I was shocked to find out she’s apparently not gay. Bad? A footballer who’s playing really badly. The girly boy from High School Musical, maybe (confirming stereotypes). ---

My theory was that every leading man in Hollywood had to have sex with a male producer at least once to get recognized, but among the definitely NOTs would be Charlton Heston and Clint Eastwood. ---

Just curious as to why folks don’t like her. I thought she was funny on Arrested Development and she’s funny on Better off Ted. _shrug_ I just wondered what she did to merit teh hate. I watch a lot of hunting shows with my dad, it’d be funny as hell if one of those guys came out. ---

Portia De Rossi is the go-to “lesbian we wish was straight so we could pretend we have a shot” for most straight guys. Because she’s hot you see. Personally, I’m saddened that Sara Gilbert plays for the other team. Not that I’d ever have a shot at Sara Gilbert even if she were straight (what with the 3000 miles separating us), but I’ve had a crush on her for years. ---
