What are you people talking about? We already have Linda McCartney on our $20 bill, as well as Barbara Bush on the $1. And Jack Benny on the $100. ---

Update: [it’s been narrowed down to four](http://www.womenon20s.org/vote2). Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt, or Wilma Mankiller. Mankiller wasn’t in the first round, and was added in to the finals because people wanted a Native American figure. My vote goes to Tubman. Wilma Mankiller, IMO, isn’t nearly at the same level of historical importance as the others, and had she been in the first round, she wouldn’t have made it. Eleanor Roosevelt, while awesome, is intrinsically connected to her husband. I wavered a bit between Harriet Tubman and Rosa Parks, but let’s face it - this lady voluntarily left a safe home and went into territory where she could have been recaptured to save other people _13 times_. If that’s not badass, I don’t know what is. ---

Given the current inequality in pay (0.8) perhaps it should be a $16 dollar bill with a famous woman on the bill. Everyone who gets a $16 dollar bill in change will be reminded of that fact and we can change the denomination of the bill as we close the gap. ---

I think the final decision should be postponed until real mockups of the currency are available. The design needs to be considered as a whole and the engraving should be attractive. If not, back to the drawing board. I still have bad memories of the Susan B. Anthony dollar coin, which was poorly executed. ---
