What about Barney Miller? He ran his fictional police force in NYC (the 12th Precinct in that 1975-82 ABC comedy) so well that I don’t see a problem with him being President. ---

Exactly what I was thinking about when I thought of NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Think about him being in charge. Very little interest in diplomacy or politics. This is how things are done, get on board or get out of he way. Strong and intelligent on national defense. He won’t send troops needlessly into a conflict but when pushed, he’ll damn sure finish it. Happy to dope slap congress peoples until they get in line. Annual State of the Union address will take about two minutes. ---
