In the Smarties packages, I think I can identify all of the flavors except the white one. When we were in preschool, my friends and I would say it was pineapple. I think we just thought we tasted pineapple though. Anyone have a clue? ---

pineapple flavored, as far as I remember. I do love smarties. Just open the wrapper and slide them in your mouth single file. ---

Smarties in the USA are small tablet shaped sour-sugar thingys, not candy coated chocolate pills. White is diffinitely pineapple flavored. ---

OK. Did some searching. Still don’t know that I’ve ever run across Smarties, but I do know that the white ones are orange cream. (BTW, the yellow ones are pineapple.) This info is available in the FAQ of [Smarties’ website](http://www.smarties.com/index.htm). I guess I’m gonna hafta go out and find some. Apparently, I’ve missed an important part of my childhood. (Still got my Pez dispenser, though.) ---

As soon as I started reading this thread, I knew some of our non-American dopers were going to be really confused!! mega the roo, did you think the thread was talking about American chalk-like Smarties or the yummy delicious chocolate Smarties? For those of you who have never had the experience of eating the wonderful chocolate Smarties, I highly advise trying to get some. They are delicious!! Chocolate smarties do have flavours… well, at least the orange smarties do (the ones made by Nestle)they have orange chocolate added. all the other colours are just plain chocolate. ---
