Okay, I think that the PEAR flavored ones taste _exactly_ like pears. **jarbabyj** and **tiggeril** insist that the POPCORN ones are most realistic. They also make the Bertie Botts Every-Flavored beans, and there have been votes for the VOMIT bean and the GRASS bean. Which one do you think tastes most like its namesake? Not your FAVORITE, but the most ACCURATE? ---

I believe the peach flavor is almost dead-on, as is the toasted marshmallow one. ---

Oh, the pear ones, definitely. Which is all the more amazing to me because, apart from a pear, Iā€™ve never had anything else pear-flavored. I assume the Jelly Bellies use an artificial flavor, does anybody else use it? ---

Yep. Pear. Definitely. There are others that are accurate too, like the popcorn (particularly the caramel popcorn ones), tangerine, peanut butter, and passion fruit (itā€™s uncanny). But pear wins hands down. **Java** , but donā€™t you think the peach ones taste like that classic _artificial_ peach flavor, Ć  la peach Nehi or peach-flavored Jolly Ranchers? None of those _really_ tastes like fresh peaches. ---

My vote goes to pear. Buttered popcorn is putrid and tastes nothing like actual buttered popcorn to me! Good lord, there is such a thing as a vomit flavored jelly bean? :eek: Iā€™d hate to be the taste tester for that one. ---

I agree that the pear ones are most authentic. I just love 'em. I also agree with benson about the vomit flavored ones. Can that be for real? ---

Grass flavored jelly beans? On the rare occasion that I eat jelly beans, theyā€™re Starburst. I donā€™t like jelly beans much, so I havenā€™t really explored the many flavors. Where are you guys finding these things? ---

Slight Hijack- When my Grandmother was dying of stomach cancer, many foods became unappetizing to her (I think its a side effect of the chemotherapy) with the exception of buttered popcorn jelly bellys. So in her last days she subsisted off those because it was the only thing that tasted yummy to her. So obviously they got something good going on with those. ---

Lots of people 180 from each other on the **buttered popcorn** ones. **LindyHopper** nailed it when talking about the pear vs. peach flavored ones. The pear flavored ones taste _like a pear_ā€¦even that weird under-flavor (no idea how else to describe it) that pears have. The peach, banana, etc. ones to me taste like **fruit-_flavored_** ā€¦which just isnā€™t the same as the FLAVOR OF FRUIT, if you see what Iā€™m saying.
