Can a site like that show you past air traffic, such as from yesterday or this morning?

Yes, but it might be a paid-only feature. I’ve seen it used a lot in the (still active, and filled with crazy people) [New Jersey drones Reddit group](https://www.reddit.com/r/NJDrones/). Someone posts video of their scary alien spacecraft sighting, someone points out the exact airplane that was visible at their location and time.

The one I use is FlightAware, and yes, the free version has a limited history that may extend two weeks or so, or less depending on volume of data, and past flights include a route map and detailed flight log.

So one of those sites might work for the OP.

Except it’s not really organized to be used that way. You need to specify something like origin and destination airport (at least one, or both), or airline and flight number, and then you can search upcoming and past flights. If you specific only an origin airport, FlightAware provides much less information and only for the current day.

That would have to be the flight, I wonder why it was so loud
