# What Font is The Simpsons Credits

What font style is used for The Simpsons credits? Is it something unigue that they created? Is it available for windows?

It’s all over the place as the Akbar font. Most sites are useless. I think from memory that [this one](http://www.geocities.com/tranzion/downloads-fonts-akbar.html) actually works.

At one point in time, I know I had a font called “Groening.” This was all caps.

This site has a download and explains the difference. If I were looking for one, I’d probably choose Akbar.

It should be noted that the font is based on Matt Groening’s handwriting.
