For me, it is hazelnut flavored coffee. I find even the smell of it off-putting.
To me hazelnut coffee is a complex flavor. It starts with a strong base of “creme” very similar to creme soda, which I also dislike. Then add in a dash of burped up baby formula and a subtle hint of just-barely-gone-off-olive oil and a gentle bouquet of “sour” that can often hit and linger on the back of the tongue. Sometimes there is a taste I call “chemical” because that’s the best that I can do to describe it.
That’s hazelnut coffee to me.

Personally, I love the smell of hazelnut coffee. It tastes like dirt but it smells great.

I guess that artificial strawberry is the one I hate the most.

I like spicy food, but there levels of heat that overpower any other flavors. These foods just taste like pain. I don’t see the point.

Well, the point is that everyone has different tolerances. Like what I find pleasantly warm others may find face numbing inedible. It’s not a brag or being macho — I’m far from it — if you love chiles, you just develop a tolerance for it. It’s difficult for me to find anything as spicy as I like it unless I make it myself.

For me, maybe all this pumpkin spice crap, especially in beer.

But at the high end of your tolerance, do you taste anything besides the heat? Even if you like that, doesn’t it tend to be one note? I like complex flavor profiles, with subtle notes and layers of flavor. Doesn’t that disappear when you make something that hot to you?

Capsicum (bell peppers), I absolutely loathe the taste of capsicum, cooked or raw I can’t eat anything with even a trace of capsicum in it

I tend to like the extra hot range with more strongly flavored foods like curries or Thai holy basil chicken or jerk — the flavors come through fine. I don’t find it difficult to taste them, plus I have no problem with tasting the subtleties in the pepper itself (like in a Trinidad scorpion vs a chocolate habanero vs a fatalii, the latter two which I particularly like.) There really is no point where all I can taste is heat except maybe when you get to the crazy extract based hot sauce stuff (which I don’t particularly like because of the flavor.)

Fish/seafood. It all tastes the way dead seaweed smells. I’ve gotten stuck eating a lot over the years and no, I haven’t found anything that doesn’t.

Coffee. Tastes absolutely awful. Even things with a tiny bit of coffee flavor are vile.

Beer. I can deal with it used in something like beer batter, but as a drink, my lips sneer at the slightest taste.

Coconut. Ruins anything it’s in. Coconut shrimp is like putting cigarette ash on a steak.

I’ll say it.

Cilantro. Tastes like soap.

I like peaches, but I can’t handle artificial peach flavoring. Peach-flavored ice tea is horrible.

Mango. I just don’t like it. Went to a friend’s house for dinner and he had made a mango mousse from mangoes brought to him from a friend in India. I ate it, but have since refused any mango stuff from him. He loves mango and I have told him he’s wasting the mango stuff on me. He, plus other friends from India, have told me I have to go to India and try Alphonso mangoes straight from the tree and then I will also love mangoes.

Rum. I just don’t get it. As a flavoring, it’s acceptable, but only if it’s combined with enough chocolate. Straight? Forget it.

I don’t particularly care for hazelnuts. There is a variety of filberts (yes, it’s is a different name for hazelnuts) grown in part of the U.S. (I think it’s Washington), which has less of the bitterness that I don’t care for. I do eat Nutella, but will generally chose almond butter or peanut butter if I want something to go on bread.

Marizipan. I can’t stand the stuff. Any confectionary with a hint of marzipan gets spat out into the bin unless I’m trying very hard to be polite, in which case I fart to create a distraction, then put it in the bin.

Mint confection. I don’t like my sweets to taste like my toothpaste. Mint chocolate chip cookies are such a tragedy - perfectly ruined chocolate chip cookies.

Fresh tomato flavor. I love tomatoes in all other forms, though. And if you marinate a fresh slice of tomato in vinegar for 20 minutes or so, then it’s delicious. And yes, I’ve tried them from the garden, tried the heirloom varieties, etc. There’s some component of the fresh tomato that tastes unpleasant to me. My eldest daughter notices this too. We’ll enjoy all things tomato, as long as they’re not fresh.

I can’t stand Brussels sprouts. Other people look forward to growing up so they could drink. I looked forward to being old enough not to have to eat Brussels sprouts anymore. (Some other things too, mostly vegetables.) They’re just awful. I guess I’d say they’re too bitter.

1. hot peppers. I don’t think burning my mouth is a fun experience. A little is OK, but let me put cayenne or hot sauce on my food to my own taste.
2. cherry flavor. drinks, candy, ice cream, cake, whatever, artificial cherry flavor tastes unhappily like cough syrup.
3. mint flavor. like cherry, artificial mint in anything tastes unhappily like mouthwash. The worse is mint chocolate chip ice cream, which is mouthwash flavor filled with gravel.
