I’ll third Secret of Mana. I loved playing that game.
Crystalis was easily my favorite NES game. I just keep hoping to see that pop up on the virtual console.

Another thing I’d like to see on the Virtual Console: arcade-perfect ports of classic arcade games. The Namco/Bandai NES arcade ports are close enough for government work, but Nintendo’s own games (such as _Donkey Kong_) were changed when they made their way to the NES: stages were removed, cutscenes were shortened, and the scoring system is entirely different. I’d love to see the original arcade versions of these- and perhaps other classic arcade games from other distributors as well.

I shook Mario’s (Charle’s) hand back at E3 2004, and I haven’t washed it since.

Nothing against Charles Martinet, but in my mind, Mario will always have a Brooklyn accent.
