I’ll second most of what’s already been mentioned, especially conlanging, math in odd bases, cartoons and animation, and cool obscure music that CFNY used to play when they were still good (like Dead Can Dance and Sigur Ros). I’ll add… Digital radio. Telephone numbering. The ZX81. The Amiga. The Commodore PET and its descendants. Shared-universe fiction, especially that of the [Devilbunny Wars](http://www.devilbunnies.org/). 🙂 ---

The standard definition of spermologist is one that collects seeds. Still, some insist that an alternate definition is one that collects “seeds of knowledge”. Just about everything I’m into is geeky (or, as my brother would have it, dorky). - Major logophile (word nerd). Puns, wordplay, puzzles, languages, accents, etymologies. - Classical music, listening and performing. I sing with a Gilbert & Sullivan Company. How’s _that_ for geeky? - Ancient history, military history, anything remotely Roman or medieval. Renn Faires and SCA events appeal to my intellectual passions, as well as being a cleavage-aficionado’s paradise. - Not a huge fantasy freak but I am a Tolkien nut and an out-of-the-closet Potterhead. - Occasional RPGs. (No, not rocket-propelled grenades. But you knew that) ---

For those of you who like strange bases, you should read West of Eden by Harry Harrison. I kept thinking that the numbers were wrong then I realized that the reptile race had only 8 fingers so they used base 8. ---
