What good stuff is not available in the US?

German liquor-filled candies – not imitation “flavored” filling, but real, liquid alcohol-filled candies.

Real “dry” Hungarian salami – it’s made with donkey or horse meat – so it’ll never be available here.

And I second catnoe: fresh mozzarella made from bison-milk – considering that buffalo are now commercially farmed in the U.S., there is still hope that someone will catch on that cow’s-milk mozzarella just isn’t worthy of the name (any more than cow’s-milk feta would be).

As a Doctor Who fan, I gotta say, “JELLY BABIES!!!” I’ve no idea what they are or what they taste like, but I want some!!! And Silk Cut cigarettes. You used to be able to get them here in the States, but they quit importing them after one of the big tobacco lawsuits. Man, them’s were the tastiest cigarettes I’ve ever had!

Jelly babies are little baby shaped gelatenous sweets - a bit like jelly beans. Children take a perverse pleasure in biting their heads off.

Jelly babies are like softer, sweeter, stickier gummy bears. Closer to Jujubes than jelly beans, but really squishy.
