Too much serious stuff in the world, we need a meaningless poll. I was at a Target and Costco today and loaded up on candy. The neighborhood we’ve just moved into is supposed to get lots of trick-or-treaters. I love that. I’ll probably take the Shibblets out while Mrs. Shibb gives out treats, but I still love to overstock. Here’s what’s in our arsenal: [ul] [li]Individual Twix[/li][li]Small Rolos[/li][li]Fun-sized Baby Ruths[/li][li]Individual Reese’s cups[/li][li]108 piece fun-sized mix of Snickers, Three Musketeers and Milk Ways[/li][li]Slightly smaller mixed bag of fun-sized Butterfingers, Nestle’s Crunch, Chocolate and Butterfingers.[/li][/ul] That oughta keep 'em fed for a while. It’s got to be about 10-20 lbs of chocolatey goodness. ---

I hope you’re stocking insulin, too, for God’s sake! Us? Tiny Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and ‘Fun Size’ Snickers. Stick with the classics, that’s my motto. ---

We have the Reese’s singles and fun size Three Musketeers & Nestle’s Crunch. We’re not expecting many visitors, didn’t get a single one last year. ---

None. Were we live there are no young children that trick or treat ☹ I wish there was because I used to really enjoy seeing all the little costumes and my 2 kids are to old to go out anymore. I did buy one bag last week just for the heck of it but my kids found it and already ate them all. :rolleyes: It was a bag of Reese’s sticks. On the upside we do have a candy exchange here at work and I have a plastic pumpkin on my desk with a large variety of goodies 😃 ---

DangerDad is out getting the stuff today, so I’m not sure exactly what it is, but it will be a large amount and variety of chocolate. ---

Or, you could send them to me 😃 Nothing here. I’m in an apartment building, so the building managers give out treats at the door instead of having a bunch of kids treking through the building. ---

I have a big Hershey’s assortment bag with Whoppers, Reese’s peanut butter cups, Hershey bars, and Kit-Kats, and smaller bags of, respectively, fun-size Reese’s (Mr. Legend will go through half of these), M&M’s, Peanut M&M’s, Butterfingers, Snickers, and Starbursts and Skittles for those freaky little kids who don’t like chocolate. ---

No trick-or-treaters here ([check out](http://www.city-data.com/zips/02215.html) my zip code’s demographics and see why!) but I did buy candy for my students to munch on in class Friday. I try to buy the good stuff that I always looked forward to on Halloween back in the day. I have mini Butterfingers, Smarties, Blowpops, Starbursts, Skittles, KitKats, and Snickers 'Crunch" bars, one bag of each. There are only 26 students in my class. I _may_ be over-prepared. My fellow grad students will happily eat the leftovers. 😃 ---

We have TONS of kids in our neighborhood so we stocked up in anticipation of having a night of many trick or treaters. We didn’t get one. We have some little mini bags of microwave popcorn, in case someone does come by. ---

None. I confess it, I am a Halloween Scrooge! I stopped giving out candy when the kids started coming in truck-loads from other neighborhoods and many were old enough to sport mustaches. When grew up (God, I’m not old enough to say “When I was a kid…”) we went around to the neighbors we could walk to and they all knew us and guessed who we were. I’m a Halloween Scrooge, I know, but I won’t put any candy out. ---

Since Halloween is fairly new here, and legends of thousands of little kids dropping dead from razor blades in their apples have not yet made their appearance, no one insists on wrapped candies. So I’m making a batch of chocolate chip cookies and a batch of peanut butter cookies and wrapping them in plastic wrap. The kids can pick one from a basket. Last year somebody put a handful of paprika-flavored potato chips in flodjunior’s trick-or-treat bag. I’m sure it was well-meant, but you can imagine what happened by the time he got home :smack: That’s why I’m wrapping the cookies.
