Meanwhile, some poor developer is hurtling down the road with no brakes, and his only way to call for help was changing a username before his battery died. All we’re all making jokes while his plea is ignored.
Very much so. TubaDiva’s glitching and I wasn’t sure I would even be able to access the board.

It looks like stop me isn’t in use as a user name.
One’s username always displays the current username (here, on the old board). If you change your username, all of your posts, including your old ones will display the new name; however, quotes will display whatever it was at the time it was quoted. See posts # 4 & 6.
A couple of years ago, the mods allowed custom usernames for Halloween, so when the mod changed your username all of your history had “Scary Swamp Thing” or whatever you were; however, when they changed them back in early Nov, that whole temporary usernames posting history went away (meaning just the username, not the posts themselves). However, quoted posts will retain whatever the username was at the time of the quote.
I’d like to ask one of the mods to test this out on the new site since regular users can’t change / change back usernames.
