Yes, a sock account of a banned poster. So it was sent into the cornfield by the mod that caught the sock. ---

If a sock drops a good post or garbage, it should always be as if the sock was never here at all. Scorched-earth _damnatio memoriae_. If it matters to anyone besides the sock, someone should take it up again. The original is irreconcilably gone. Either it’s worth re-creating or it’s not. ---

I think that if a sock comes back and posts good, decent threads, it should be allowed. If the sock is back to troll, no. But sports is fine. ---

No legitimate poster should have their work disappear without comment or explanation. Why scorched earth? That doesn’t even make sense. At least with a scammer you’re theoretically protecting the members from a scam. If this is just a regular banned poster, you’re essentially protecting some people on the internet from a different person on the internet who doesn’t play by the made-up rules of the first people on the internet. So again, why scorched earth? ---
