# What happened to the wandering jews?

Gloxinia… haven’t seen one of those in a while. And cyclamen. Those were both very popular in the early 90’s.

I see both of these frequently at nurseries around town, both small, independent ones and Home Depot.

[Pothos](https://www.google.com/search?q=pothos&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjO1-OmmK7PAhVHTSYKHaSyBxgQ_AUICCgB&biw=878&bih=853&dpr=1.09) is the plant of choice around here. It grows like crazy, especially under fluorescent lights. In the late '90s or early '00s, [croton](https://www.google.com/search?q=croton&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjut7K5mq7PAhWGyyYKHTbKDtUQ_AUICCgB&biw=878&bih=853&dpr=1.09) was also super popular. I still see that one at large home improvement stores, but I rarely actually see it in offices or homes.

Right.  
Now if someone said that they stole the Palestine homeland and all the ‘wandering Jews’ moved back there … that would be offensive. (And untrue.)
