# What happened to this thread about subscription?

Out of curiosity I clicked to see how the subscription plan was originally presented. It seems that the thead does not exist anymore. Was it deleted for some reason?

I’m not sure what’s wrong with the link you cited, it appears to be a wrong URL embedded?

We are in the (slow) process of revising the stickies. There’s no longer a need to present things in future tense, for instance, that the Board “is switching” to paid.

I think the link must have worked at some time. [Thread 245824](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=245824) links to a thread timestamped 06:03 18/03/2004. [Thread 245826](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=245826) links to a thread timestamped 06:27 18/03/2004. The thread in between has vanished.
