# What happens after liposuction?

Does the body simply replace the fat that was removed if the person continues to eat more calories than are burned?

It seems like it wouldn’t make sense to get liposuction of someone is just going to continue unhealthy habits.

But what if someone works out regularly and eats sensibly? Is it more difficult for the body to replace the fat where the liposuction occurred?
