Because Lincoln is nowhere near Alberta or any international borders at all, is why not. It’s a very nice little town in a very nice-looking region, which is how you know: Most of the parts of Montana near Alberta are pretty flat.

Yeah, I noticed the mistake after the edit window expired. But since I clearly said “Lincoln County” both in that same post and in my next post, I figured anyone familiar with Montana would know what I meant (Lincoln County, not town of Lincoln), and it seemed unlikely anyone else would care. I apologize for the confusion. And the part of Alberta that borders Lincoln County is not flat, it’s pretty much as mountainous as Montana gets, outside of Glacier Park.
