# What happens if the Mets, Phillies and the Padres tie?

The Phillies and the Mets play a deciding game to determine the division winner. Then what? How do they pick the wildcard?  
Hey, why don’t we throw in Colorado too, while we’re at it? Then what happens?

The Rockies can sweep the Diamondbacks to win the division (need a couple Padres losses as well) these next three games or tie by going 2 of 3. (That would be as many as 14 straight wins.) So you have to throw not only Colorado but Arizona in the mix as well.
