my favourite bit of the filing (end of pg 5, top of pg 6.) for mr clark, to paraphrase, the jail is too icky. seriously, one could drive from va to ga in the amount of time left to surrender. ---

There would be a felony warrant out for their arrest, and any law enforcement officer in the country could execute it if they happened upon one of the fugitives. They would (should) get arrested and extradited. And they’d have a hard time arguing for a low bail after they are hauled into court. I’m not sure, but I don’t think the US Marshalls would be assigned to a state arrest warrant. ---

they had quite a bit of time as the facility is open 24/7. they could have popped in at any time. to wait until the last few days and then hope that filings could postpone is rather short sighted. just get it done! ---
