He almost put Tom Tomorrow out of business, I think – TT kept coming up with really bizarre things, and then a few months later, the Trump administration would basically do those things. ---

The other week I overheard my Q-spouting spouse portentously telling one of her slightly-less-Q-believing-but-still-completely-Trump-adoring friends, “Beware the Ides of March!” So maybe the goalpost has already been moved. OR she doesn’t actually know when the Ides of March are. It’s a toss-up. ---

In those situations, what do you say? Do you ask her to hold herself to those predictions (i.e. if nothing happens after March 4 (or March 14), she has to distance herself from those beliefs)?
