I always operate under the assumption that everything put on the internet is forever, and that given _enough interest/will_ they will be able to find me. Up until Trump 1.0/2.0 I didn’t think it would be my government coming for me, more about ever more targeted and intrusive ads or perhaps super-paranoid employers. Still, there is nothing I’ve said (okay, maybe a few things I’d wince a bit) that I would not be willing to own up to, though maybe not with as such “Molon Labe” enthusiasm as @hajario. Still, if we get to that point, indeed, a raised finger (or worse) is the only appropriate response. That said, I still think it’s infinitely more likely that we’d go dark with no notice because someone far above our control decides something is drawing unwanted attention and we all go into the dark unknowingly. ---
