I went next door to borrow my neighbour’s chinchilla for a bite (it ended up being more of a chewing session) just so I could add it to my list. My list now is ``` * dog * cat * hamster * various insects * human * me * bunny * chinchilla! ``` ---

I’ve been bitten by just about every cat we’ve had at one time or another. I’ve only been bitten by a dog once, however, but once was enough to confirm my dislike for dogs. I was nine years old and I thought this rotweiller (sp?) I had seen looked friendly, and I thought I might use this as an opportunity to make peace with the world’s canines, but when I approached him he bit me on the arm. I had to go to the hospital for a shot. Other than that I’ve been lucky. I’ve had more moaquito bites than I can count, but I’ve been safe from most other insects. I don’t think I’ve ever even had a spider bite me. ---

Dogs Cats Fish Leeches Insects (bitten and stung by many)…did y’all know that ladybugs will bite? I didn’t. Spiders One large iguana One very freakin psychotic cockatoo (put quite a hole in my neck) One small iguana One pissed off duck One medium sized pony Pinched by a few crawdads (or crayfish, or whatever you call them where you’re from) ---

Various insects, birds, etc … the usual. But I was bitten by a **wombat** once. (It had been a long, hot day, and there were a _lot_ of tourists around, and I expect he was somewhat irritable since he was supposed to be nocturnal anyway, and … well, anyway. He bit me.) ---

The Chow is the only animal that bit me that I didn’t kill in retaliation. It belonged to a girl I was banging, and didn’t want to blow the “booty call”. ---

Only the usual suspects… assorted insects, a spider or two, and a friend’s pet guinea pig. Been nipped by a few dogs and cats but never really _bitten_. Fella bilong missus flodnak, on the other hand, has been bitten by a lemming and a piranha. Clearly he leads a much more exciting life. ---

On leeches: Do you folks generally regard those nasty little monsters as “biting” us? As I kid I felt they were “sucking” on me. Now I look at it more as being cannulated. ---
