The dark glove-like thing with the loop might be a falconer’s glove. Or just a prop made from an orthopedic wrist brace with a loop of rope attached for that vaguely bondage, bad girl vibe. It has elements of each. Cute pix btw. For rather aggressive values of “cute”. ---

The first album I bought as a nipper was “parallel lines” and there is nothing overtly sexual about the cover but she was effortlessly attractive no matter what she did and what she wore. She _simmered_, she exuded a vibe of “I’m wearng this, I know I look good, deal with it” The early me would have said “yes please” to nudity but on reflection I think she made a bigger impact by not doing so. ---

Oh, I understand. I’m just older. Now, I feel decrepit. Watched the concert for Joni Mitchell’s Gershwin Award we had on the dvr last night. I started doing the math on how many years it’d been since … I gave up. Too depressing! I saw Joni at The Troubadour (in L.A.) between her first and second albums. That’s a _ton_ of years ago. ---
