I’ve been called a troll before. And **PitMeister** started a pit thread about me just before he got banned, but **Coldfire** sure is quick with the delete option, so the thread didn’t last very long. I forgot what he was saying, but it was a string of profanity and insults. ---

I’ve been accused of “repeating alarmist bullshit”, “fucking pseudo-pious intervention”, “knee-jerking” (several times), “say[ing] moronic things”, “flaunting [my] sexuality” (guilty!), “boo-hoo[ing]… about how oppressed [I am]”, “hav[ing] a need to make the world aware [that I am] gay at least once a week,” “responding to contempt with more contempt,” “bring[ing] on the lavender uzi”, needing to “get a life”, spouting “60’s dialogue”, making “stupid comments,” “gratuitous[ly] flaming,” spouting “pissy little semantic bullshit” which I need to “shove…up [my] ass”, “using PC speech as a weapon,” having “snide self-righteousness”, “telling us about [being gay until it starts] getting old”, having the “stupid gene”, perpetrating “commentary like [the kind that] made [someone] leave LBMB,” “living… gay cliché[s]”, suffering from an “obvious lack of self-respect”, needing to “get that chip off [my] shoulder”, “basing [my] identity on other people’s perceptions of [me] instead of doing [my] own thing”, and “whimper[ing]”. I’ve also been called a “fag” (guilty!), “Stockwell Day” (ouch!), a “dumb-fuck so called activist,” “an arrogant prick” (to which I responded with ‘plangent misanthrope’, a lovely phrase of which I am quite proud), “fucking boring,” “annoying,” “condescending and vitriolic,” a “language Nazi”, “rude”, “not worth the effort at courtesy,” “disingenuous,” “censorial” [sic], a “language fuckhead”, “presumptive” [sic], “in deliberate error”, “unreasonable”, “sinister and gestapolike”, “self-absorbed,” “depressing,” “brain-dead,” “bananas,” “fucking stupid”, “amazingly stupid”, and a “moron”. And that’s just what I’ve been called in the Pit and in a few MPSIMS threads. I haven’t even _started_ into GD. 🙂 ---

I can’t compare with all o’ y’all. Matter of fact, I honestly don’t remember anybody calling me anything bad. I dunno if that’s because any attempts at insult were so thoroughly unmemorable as to make no impression, or if I haven’t pissed anybody off badly enough to warrant a savage flaming. I **was** called all sorts of **pleasant** things after the Telemarketer Rant, though I doubt that counts for what the OP’s looking for. 🙂 ---

I have been called, by more than one person, both “cute” and “a sweetie.” I very fucking much, thank you, resent these black marks on my otherwise pristine reputation. Then again, I’ve also been told on one level or another that I’m a bitch, a slut, a tramp, a whore, a cunt, and a liar. I’ll go with all but the last as being nothing but accurate. ---

On the old AOL board, I was called a “slut” by Rhynananananananananan (ananananana. . . . ana. Did I miss any “a” or "n"s?) In fact, that was the beginning of the Slut Club. Aside from that, I have been called many precious pet names mostly reserved for the name caller’s mothers.
