OMIGOD - I think that was it! After reading the site, it came to me that CNN never used the word _lesbian_ in it’s discussion of it, I must have mentally added it. Oops.

I found another hymn by the same name, but not the one I was looking for, which has a refrain something like: _The King of Glory comes / The nation rejoices / Open the gates before him / Lift up your voices_ If my memory can be trusted it had lots of verses, but they were all just as short as the refrain.

Is that the one that has the lines:
_Who is the King of Glory?/How shall we call him?/He is Emmanuel/The Promised of Ages_?

Can’t find anything on the net about about 19th century South American tin (the metal) and rubber industrialists who made forunes and built cities with grand opera houses etc in the middle of the deepest South American rainforests. Apparently all gone back to the jungle now.

Some but not all. Teatro Amazonas in Manaus is still one of the world’s most famous opera houses. Try this, and search the links:

I have found where it is and it’s phone #, but I already knew that, I sold them a plane about 10 years ago. Sure, any info about WW1 fighters I could get most anywhere on the web, but I wanted to see how ‘their’ collection was coming along. As far as I can tell this info is not avail on the web.

The soundtrack of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s PHANTOM OF THE OPERA featuring NO, not the original cast with Michael Crawford who can’t sing ::yyawn:: but instead Thomas James O’Leary, i.e., the current cast.

MP3 would do. CD better. I’d take bootleg cassette tapes.

Is this it?
**The King of Glory Comes**

\*The King of glory comes, the nation rejoices!
Open the gates before him, lift up your voices!

Who is the king of glory; how shall we call him?
He is Emmanuel, the promised of ages. (Refrain)

In all of Galilee, in city or village,
He goes among his people, curing their illness. (Refrain)

Sing then of David’s Son, our Saviour and brother;
In all of Galilee was never another. (Refrain)

He gave his life for us, the pledge of salvation,
He took upon himself the sins of the nation. (Refrain) \*

I found it on a church bulletin site with no copyright info. Sorry.

I’ve been trying to find a place to buy one of those strap to the back of your hand massagers.

They were popular probably about 10+ years ago. They had coils that would go around your hand and the power pack would rest on the back of your hand. It was a plug in model. I called the manufacturer of the one my aunt has, but they don’t make them anymore.

If anyone could find this I (and my boyfriend) would be eternally grateful 🙂

Our version was something like this:

My country’s tired of me
I’m going to Germany
My name is Fritz

I eat my sauerkraut
Right through my (something) snout
From every mountainside,
Let sauerkraut sprout

Shoot. I thought I had it right until I started to type it.

How about “Glory, glory, hallelujah, I hit the teacher with a ruler” – what’s the rest of that one?
