Just looking to find someone who would rather clean an oven than wash dishes. I agree that ovens don’t really need cleaning that much soince they reach a temperature ensuring that any dirt is pretty sterile. But it sure is difficult to get them spotlessly clean. ---

In fact…I haven’t mowed my lawn in 2 weeks now but I just finished cleaning the house top-to-bottom. I am hoping that it snows soon. ---

I have a friend who comes over and organizes my fridge. She hums happily while she does it. **Kalhoun** , I love grocery shopping. I’ll do yours. Do you care what you end up with? It’s even more fun if you don’t mind what I buy. Mr. Lissar: “Darling, _why_ do we have a five-pound chunk of palm sugar and some mysterious things with Arabic writing?” Me:“They looked tasty. I’d grocery shop for all of you if I never had to manage the bills again, this includes the mail. Please, take my laundry. I’d clean the kitchen top to bottom to never had to do another load of laundry. ---

I hate ironing (I just can’t get the hang of it; the clothes flatten but 5 minutes later they’re wrinkled again) and cleaning gunk out of things, and taking out garbage. Ooh, and chopping onions. _sob_ I don’t mind cooking, laundry, vaccuuming, sweeping or dusting, and I love organizing, putting away and tidying up. In my household it all balances out, except for the ironing, which doesn’t get done. ☹ ---

I’ve been into this thread three or four times trying to decide which chore I hate the most. Cleaning the bathroom came out tops every time. It takes me hours to do because I hate it so much that I keep wandering off to find other things to do while the descaling type stuff does its work. Then some grimy sod wants to jump in and have a shower! Considerate mob I live with. ---

I just have to pimp those Automatic Shower Clearners (the ones made by the scrubbing bubble people) whenever someone complains about shower cleaning. It hangs from your shower head’s pipe and you push a little blue button after the last shower of the day and it beeps for a bit then sprays this yummy smelling surfactant/cleanser thingy all over the shower. It’s clear, you don’t have to rinse it, and it doesn’t build up a residue. But it keeps your shower clean. I know, it makes no sense. I suspect fairies. Or nanobots. But I moved in here in May and installed one in the clean shower (housewarming gift from my mom, who was always grossed out by the shower at my old place) and ONCE since then, I’ve thrown a few buckets of water around the shower for a rinse-down, more because I felt like I should than it needed it. My mom thinks I scrub the shower twice a week now. I let her wallow in her delusions and keep pushing the little blue button like a rat in a Skinner box. ---

I will pay and mail every bill owed, within 24 hours of receipt, in exchange for full laundry services (with my shirts folded the “Japanese way”). I will keep track of and renew auto insurance, wills, investments, and other paperwork if I never have to put dishes away again. I will mow and edge the lawn once a week in exchange for never having to re-make the bed with clean sheets and blankets. ---

I like to grocery shop, cook and do laundry. I don’t mind doing dishes, but I don’t really like emptying the dishwasher. I hate cleaning bathrooms (especially the tub). I am not wild about ironing (but deliberately have very few items that must be ironed). I like tidying much more than dusting. I like vaccuuming more than sweeping. Overall, I don’t mind indoor tasks but I hate all yardwork-related activities - mowing, weeding, raking. I would do housework forever instead of any yard work!!! ---

I would rather do my laundry and my SO’s laundry everyday rather than having to clean the bathroom. I have eczema on my hands, so I’m kind of germaphobe (touching wet stuff then touching dust or dirt makes my hands itchy). Even with gloves, touching a wet sponge creeps me out. But being surrounded by warm and CLEAN laundry, how can you go wrong with that!?
