I’d absolutely love it if one of the requirements of getting the money was that you couldn’t protest anymore, and see whether Phelps would take it. I bet he would. ---

I was watching 20/20 on Friday, and Barbara Walters mentioned she had bought a few tickets, and I thought to myself “Wouldn’t that be a kick in the pants…” Actually I think if any real rich and famous person won this lottery it would be kind of tasteless. ---

It sounds like the MD woman really did win off her own ticket and not a shared one. Since everyone has photocopies of the tickets they were all in on, this is why they’re only ‘outraged’ and not suing or calling the cops. I did the same thing. Bought separate tickets besides the group ones. 'Cept I didn’t win, but I would’ve shared at least 10 million bucks if I did win.
