# What, if anything, do you excel at?

I can tell one hell of a funny story.  
Whenever I’m in a group and a story needs to be retold, I’m the man asked.  
I’m looking forward to reading to my future children someday.

I draw and stuff too, but stories are where I excel.

Stopping hiccups. I never have more than 2 or 3, usually it’s just one and I can stop the spasm from repeating.

making stained glass - I used to restore Arts + Crafts glass (FL Wright,Mackintosh, a little Sullivan stuff but he didn’t do much that still exists in private hands)

getting women to go out on one date with me and never call me back;)

remembering faces; names I’m terrible with, but I have a thing for faces.

Avoiding housecleaning- Olympic Gold medallist!

Applied humility…nuthin’ like front-line, public info handling to teach you how much you _don’t_ know–or understand.

Talk about tiny, whimpering, hard-won gifts: I’ll admit ignorance, ask inane questions and _listen_ to unlikely sources. Had to be kicked into my hard, arrogant, stubborn head, but all you “know” is just the faintest inkling of what you _don’t_ know.

My only, lonely, feeble skill? Sometimes shutting up, listening and _hearing_ what other people say.

Can’t figure out if that’s pathetic or expected.
