No one is going to indict Clinton. That being said, I think Bush’s new campaign slogan is funny: You have to elect someone who can beat Hillary Clinton. Something the current GOP clown car is ignoring. ---

I believe the stated focus was always related to possible spillage of classified information not criminal violations. Nothing about that prevents indictment if they find evidence of a crime along the way. These are still law enforcement personnel. ---

Clinton won’t be indicted. If the FBI recommends charges, the Justice Department will simply decline to pursue the case. But if the FBI did recommend charges, she’d be guilty in 80% of the public’s eyes and would have no chance of getting elected. That’s why this is such a strange roll of the dice on the Democratic Party’s part. There are many outcomes short of indictment that can doom Clinton’s chances. Yet there’s no backup plan. Hopefully we don’t see the silly spectacle of Democrats on Oct. 30 going to court to get her removed from the ballot and replacing her with Biden because “America deserves a choice!” ---

Even many Democrats are irritated by her aristocratic attitude. Bill Clinton & Obama at least have charisma, and come across as likeable people. It seems like the only people that get excited about Hillary are 60-year-old female college professors. Most Dems are just going to vote for her because she’s not the Republican candidate. The general public thinks of her as an untrustworthy (look at any recent public opinion poll). Her reaction to every scandal has been a master’s course in bad public relations management. The Democratic party has made a very curious choice of baskets to put all its eggs in. Joe Biden is more likeable by far, and Bernie Sanders would at least be a relatively inoffensive choice that would avoid Hillary’s considerable baggage. But they’re being kicked to the curb. ---
