Use logic, think.
Not much of a profit in that.
So you agree thatt drugs can be done in moderation.
Only hundreds of addicts? not bad for a country of this size.
So why don’t the drug companies put legal Vicodin or Ritalin into the food supply today? Vicodin is a legal addictive opiate, just like heroin except it’s legal. Ritalin is a legal stimulant, just like cocaine except it’s legal and we give it to kids.
Wouldn’t putting Vicodin into Frosted Flakes create a whole new generation of addicts all dependent on the drug companies for their fix and a gigantic growth in profits for the capitalist fat cats?
So think for a minute and try to figure out why doesn’t this isn’t happening today.
Drug “legalization” wouldn’t mean anything goes with drugs. It’s a crime to dose someone with a legal drug against their will or without their knowledge. It’s against medical ethics to give someone a drug that won’t help them. It’s a tort if someone takes your legal drug but is harmed as a result.
Just to nitpick, Vicodin and Ritalin are only legal to possess with a prescription, so your cereal company isn’t able to put it in your Frosted Flakes. For that matter, I’m pretty sure cocaine is legal with a prescription. (It’s used to stop nosebleeds).
Good answer, I don’t think it’s called cocaine just some knock-off.
One can get the licensing for any material with the right background and applications. I’ve worked with morphine, cocaine, testosterone and marijauna in the lab. And cholera, but that one doesn’t get abused much…
Run us through the logic please.
We had laws against demon rum in the early part of the 20th century and the main effect of them was corruption. People wanted booze and paid criminals to give them booze. This created a huge revenue stream for organized crime which in turn gave the criminals enormous power.
You see a very similar pattern with drugs now.
The criminals are not the only worry, see my other posts.

You really want to increase this cost by a hundred fold.
I’m using logic and can only conclude that making drugs legal would be absolutely great for our country. Crime would drop tremendously, there would be no more meth house explosions, no more innocent people killed in drug raids, no more shootouts over street corners and territory and the list goes on and on.
But the reason drugs aren’t legalized is because the Government is making more money from keeping them illegal.
Use logic, think.
Think of the crime that takes place now because drugs are illegal. Think of all the people who’ve died over a dimebag of weed. Think of all the children who’ve been blown to shreds because their daddy didn’t know what he was doing when mixing up his batch of crystal meth. Think of how overcrowded the prisons have become becuase of small drug offenses. Use Logic, Think.
I think you need to read the 5-7 previous posts, this has already been covered.
Enlighten me. You made the claim, you back it up.
An interesting group of stats. Three time more drug arrests now than in 1980 while drug use is down, from 14% monthly use to 8%, and 39% of arrests are for possession of marijuana.
FWIW. Interpret how you will.
Religion is the biggest drug of them all.
A healing drug, some say a crutch, or an anchor, maybe a coping mechanism that helps many over the rough spots of life. There is research that shows people who go to church often live happier, healthier lives than those who don’t. It is many things to many people, no one can say what it means to another. Some are afraid of hell and God, so they go out of fear, others go out of love, and love heals all things. Besides the doctrines are principles that heal the addictions, troubled emotions, and broken relationships of life. Those who believe in a heavenly afterlife can endure beyond most, and are peaceful, joyful individuals. It is true not all religious people are kind and giving, but most are, and I never let the negative few warp my view of the whole.
