# What if Star Trek was made by Klingons?

Incidentally, if you’d like to read some _Star Trek_ stories told from the perspective of a Klingon crew, you should read the _I.K.S. Gorkon_ series of novels written by Keith R.A. DeCandido. He does a great job bringing the crew to life. Much of the crew, at least the officers, are previously-established people from TNG and DS9.

There’s also the ST:TOS tie-in novel The Final Reflection [The Final Reflection - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Final_Reflection) It’s not canon, since the way successive Star Trek series handled Klingons went in different directions, but it’s a heck of a story, and has the Klingons as not just protagonists, but in some cases heroes.
