What if the senate refuses to confirm Hillary's cabinet?

Allow amendments from Republicans and every single bill is going to be appended with “repeal Obamacare” and “defund Planned Parenthood”.

My hope is that the Democrats take both houses of Congress and that they and Hillary govern wisely and prudently to earn the trust of the people in the 2018 election.

My second hope is that Trump gets a rematch in 2020 and the resulting blowout allows Democrats to take state houses and do the gerrymandering in their favor.

My hope is that we stop gerrymandering altogether so government can accurately represent the electorate.

If Hillary gets anything meaningful done I don’t see any legitimate candidate running against her in the primary. In fact, she would have to do pretty poorly for the party to pull its support. I think we’re already looking at the 2020 Democratic nominee.

You don’t want to mess with time-travelling U.S. senators, believe me.

If I were Senate majority leader, I would allow the minority five amendments on every bill. If they want to waste two of them on quickly-defeated amendments to repeal Obamacare and defund Planned Parenthood, that’s their problem.

Agreed, but it wouldn’t make any difference in the Senate, obviously.

Yes, barring health issues or a Watergate-level scandal, Hillary will run for re-election in 2020.

Take that FWIW - I was confident that Trump would never get the GOP nomination.
