I have 2 differing views of **French Frog**. The first is a skydiver, because ‘french frog’ is a specific freefall maneuver. The second is the joke about the lesbian frogs with the punchline, _“We really do taste like chicken.”_ ---

I don’t know for sure, but I think Vunderbob wears lederhosen and does that “slappy” dance whilst sucking down warm German beer. ---

**Eve** is Katherine Hepburn crossed with Dorothy Parker and cubed at least. **Qadgop** is a tentacled alien slithering about the tranship hull (someday I’ve got to read that novel!), toolbox/doctor’s bag in tentacle, fixing something and being extremely competent while doing so. **Rico** is a big-shouldered guy in a 1940’s zoot suit, who looks a bit like a gangster. **Bosda** ’s wearing a super hero suit, complete with cape and shield, and a goofy grin which I get from his being “Bosda, y’all!” Ah yes. **Deagan the Wolf** is vaguely shaggy looking, as if he were caught halfway between transforming from grey wolf to human. On second thought, make that about a quarter of the way – he’s definitely more lupine. **SkipMagic** conjures up a twinkle in the eye and a feeling that something marvelous and amusing is about to happen. **Blown & Injected** is standing next to a car with an engine which blew out while winning a high speed race. He’s got a big grin on his face because he won the race and he’ll rebuild the engine in time to win the next one. CJ ---
