Seige makes me think of Jeanine Garafolo in a softball uniform. Why? I dunno. Midwinter makes me think of Julie Christie on a Russian train platform. Lizard…One of those desert lizards you always see on a garden wall, I guess. Phlosphr reminds me of Richard Dreyfuss, and his wife looks like Anne Bancroft. ---

Since I know **Siege** is female, I’m always getting a vague _Jeanne d’Arc_ image, only a bit older and wiser, when I see her username. **BiblioCat** immediately makes me think of a Cheshire Cat sleeping on a book shelf. **N. Sane** makes me think of _Jim Carey_ as mr. Nygma in the Batman movie. **pravnik** : I think I’ve read a description of himself, which disturbs my natural impression of him. Otherwise I’d have thought of someone of Eastern European (Polish?) descent, smallish, rounded, partially balding, and grinning. I don’t know why, I just picture him grinning. **Kalhoun** wears boots. I’m sure of it: long, brown boots that may have some kind of decorational motive branded in them. ---

\*\* Diogenes The Cynic\*\* is a man in his 50s, white hair and somewhat pudgy. **Kalhoun** reminds me of one of the early mountain men from the 1820s who explored the western U.S. **Phlosphr** is what Dr. Phlox from Star Trek would look like if he was made of phosperous (i.e. essentially made of green, smoking rock, although I don’t know if that’s what phosperous actually looks like) **js\_africanus** is an african swallow. I wonder what people think of my name… **Bongmaster** sits in a darkened, smoke-filled room with a single lamp illiminating a huge tray of pot. He is breaking it up and loading small bowls to be placed onto the stems of the many bongs surrounding him. Pink d, or the Doors, or Phish are heard in the background. **Miller** flies around the room, beating his wings against the light bulb from time to time. **NoClueBoy** looks around confusedly, then returns to drooling over the scene of T’Pol seducing Trip on his TiVo. **Dinsdale** is hiding from Spiny Norman under the table. ---

There’s a little town on the coast of Northern California called Mendocino. On one of the side streets, there is the cutest little bookstore; I don’t remember what it’s called, Mendocino Books or something like that. They had a cat that lived in the bookstore who used to sleep in the front window in the sun. That’s the image I get when I see the name **BiblioCat** , looking at that cat through the window.
