Heh, I see **Master Wang-Ka** as a ninja, dressed all in black, with a big sword. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees a Mormon, or maybe it’s a Jehovah’s Witness (or other door-to-door god-botherer). He leaps from the roof of his house, slicing and dicing, as he takes careful mental notes in order to later retell the story to his friends on SDMB. 🙂 Ok ok ok ok, shameless plea: what about me??? **Wintermute** reminds me of the name of the remote Alaskan town Nightmute in the movie _Insomnia_ with Robin Williams and Al Pacino. “Wintermute” should be the name of the next town over. ---

**vunderbob** is the quiet, unassuming guy who makes the technical stuff work smoothly every single time. **maxxxie** reminds me of a good college friend of the same name, who was a terribly over-the-top diva - when he was being good. **Ginger of the North** provokes an image of a statuesque redhead in a biker jacket, leaning against a miniature Stonehenge. Oh, wait, I’ve been there. **Weirddave** is the guy who interrogates you about your favourite candy bar, while blinding you with his desk lamp. **Johnny LA** is the guy who would be tall,dark and handsome, but we can’t see him for the boats on his front lawn. **Northern Piper** paces the battlements, puffing whitely into the air as he inflates his bagpipes for the Hogmanay. **scout1222** is a small man, gifted at travelling noiselessly through the underbrush as he tracks his quarry, ahead of the army. **misstee** truly does make me think of an auburn-haired woman with a freshly mixed pitcher of iced tea, inviting you to sit a spell on her porch. **Master Wang-Ka** I have always imagined as being the Tae Kwon Leep Master from the _Frantics_ skit, _Boot to the Head_. **ShibbOleth** is looking for the perfect kibbutz. **buttonjockey308** is of Tom-Thumb stature, with a bicycle made of buttons. _et moi?_ ---

**elucidator** : I see him as an aging hippie with a white pony tail, a slightly wild gleam in his eyes and probably a bag of reefer in a drawer somewhere. Curiously, this is also how I picture **Libertarian**. **Polycarp** I see as a 60ish nerdy type with coke bottle glasses. He looks like a local church parson in my mind. **Minty** looks like Jerry Spence, complete with the fringe leather jacket. **Airman Doors** I always picture in uniform although he probably seldom wears it while posting. **Shodan** I always picture as an oldtime magician with a turban. It’s just what the name conjures up. **Gobear** I see as being sort of like the chef on _Queer Eye_. I imagine a deep voice for some reason. Does anybody have a picture of Cecil? ---

This the funnest and one of the funniest threads I have seen. I think **Manhatten** looks like a business executive, but has a fun life. **Coldfire** , first I see silver, then a mystical looking woman, kind of like Arwen from LOTR. **Guinastasia** reminds me not only of Rapunzel, but also of a pretty gynecologist. Nothing sexual, though. It’s just that I see a similarity between the name and the title. ---
