# What in the Huawei 5G technology/protocols is "Huawei-only" (ie, "controllable" by China)?

The problem is that this is a possibility no matter who makes your networking/telecomm equipment.

The alternative to Huawei and China is either the Swedes or the Finns. And well, “From the fury of the Norsemen deliver us.”
