Explain a lot?? I don’t comprehend, IMO it explains the definition of God that I use.
All energy in the universe and all else the universe consists of is God. IMO It explains all does it not?
Your second question is a Begging the Question fallacy and needs not be answered.
You assume with zero reason there is a WHO and there is a CAUSE for the Big Bang event.
There is no evidence there must be a cause; events are observed with NO cause, so cause is not an issue.
Natural forces is what causes the chemicals to react as they do.
What is randomness? Really it makes no sense to me, all things follow laws of physics, random would be something falling UP, I have yet to witness or hear of such.
Randomness would be energy created, and no such thing happens, So randomness is just a red herring fallacy
Since there are no random movements in the universe, the strawman fallacy is ignored IMHO.
Kaviik: Actually, to the very best of our ability to know, some events in the universe really are random. The decay of radioactive elements, for instance, or the position of an electron. Quantum tunnelling seems to demonstrate this, and, while other explanations have been proposed, none, so far, has survived experimental testing.
Philosophically, this doesn’t prove much either way. Maybe there’s no God, or maybe God embraces randomness in his laws of nature.
Theories are no good, did you just make that up? The statement is false is not true and is rather foolish. The statement does show you appear ignorant on what a scientific theory is. It is not a layman’s theory. A scientific theory is the best it gets, nothing is higher when explaining natural phenomena.
A scientific theory predicts, so clearly they are good. For example the THEORY OF GRAVITY comes in pretty handy. The entire medical sciences are dependent on the Modern Synthesis (theories of evolution).
You ask where matter comes from, is this not basic science? Matter is a form of ENERGY, it does not come from anywhere, it is eternal. First Law of Thermodynamics state energy cannot be created or destroyed, this answers where did Matter come from.
Since energy is eternal and cannot be created or destroyed, clearly it cannot come from anywhere. On the other hand, where did God(s)(theist gods) come from?
you cannot claim they are eternal and at the same time deny that energy is eternal. Energy can be tested, God(s) cannot and only claims are made on faith. Faith by definition is acceptance of something with no evidence; it is simply belief.
You said no questions have been answered by science. Well all I can say is you must have a gross ignorance of what science is.
Science is a method to investigate discovery. It does not say anything, it is a tool like a hammer.
Scientist are who and what says things by investigating via the Scientific Method. Scientist have answered many questions. If no questions have been answered, how the heck can you be on the internet?
If no questions have been answered, how come we have vaccines?
If no questions have been answered, people would believe their heart actually feels emotion and such.
If no questions have been answered we could not have the global population we do.
If no questions have been answered we would have no space program.
Religion and science cannot be compared in any sense. One is acceptance with no evidence the other operates on the Null Hypothesis. Religion makes up foolish questions and then answers said foolish questions with more foolish answers, no more or no less. Religion is irrational and cannot be argues without using logical fallacies.
Religion cannot be peer reviewed and has no observation. The Scientific Method cannot be applied with NO observation.
Yes there is more to the universe than energy, there is SPACE is there not, that is something that was formed by the Big Bang event, you know the event that is still happening.
The Big Bang event was a change of states of the universe, not the creation of the universe. The change of states is still happening since the universe is still expanding.
All is energy E=mc\2. Or something like that but there are voids, space, matter, light, and emotions like love and coursity. There may be other things also.
When science starts taking spiritual energy seriously all kinds of things will be discovered. There is more than matter, in fact matter doesn’t mean much. We are not bio-mechanical robots. We are not bodies we are much more.
Please define ‘spiritual energy’ and how it may be measured. What qualities does it possess that distinguishes it from electromagnetic energy. How can you assert that such ideas as love and curiosity are not emergent phenomena from the complexity that makes up our neural networks? Are we defined by something innominate, indecipherable and unknowable?
I think not. Snowflakes and rainbows exist but so does reality.
Sir, I’m going to ask you quietly to put that chalk down and slowly step away from the chalkboard before you do any more damage. That sound you hear in the distance? That is the sound of your high school science teacher weeping.
Most religious people would define it by not talking about any tangible details. They say it’s a ‘being’ or an ‘entity,’ and the only real specifics you’ll get out of them is an in-depth description of the personality of a thing they’ve never heard, seen, felt or otherwise experienced.
If you’re talking about ‘souls,’ there’s no reason to think we have one, or that we are anything beyond bio-mechanical robots, much like there’s no reason to think there’s a god. “Spiritual energy” is a concept both undemonstrated and as insubstantial as the concept of a god.
Since when do you speak for Einstein; are you attempting the Appeal to Authority fallacy by using Einstein’s name?
If Einstein thought nothing about Scientific Theories, he would no have vetted one out himself would he?
All is not energy, as I said SPACE is not energy.
Love and curiosity do not exist as the brain exists. The brain does exist, and what you speak of are functions of the brain.
Spiritual energy is of the supernatural. Spirit is a religious term for something not tangible and not actually defined.
Science must have OBSERVATION, there is no OBSERVATION regarding spirit. So your point is worthless
Yes there is more than matter and you are wrong when you say, matter does not mean much. Matter is part of our existence, without it we cannot exist.
Regarding bio mechanical robots, that is your dishonest strawman that I made no mention of nor did I suggest any such nonsense.
We are bodies, and we are not anything more, than the sum total of what we are.
Do want evidence?
If your body never existed, neither did you.
If your brain is not functioning neither are you.
When you die, you die, there is no more, the show is over, you rot and decay like any other thing that dies.
I call it fractalism; there are tiny gods governing the actions of subatomic particles, humans are little gods ordering our own world to the best of our ability, there are bigger gods for the solar system, galaxy, local supercluster, Hubble volume, universal brane, and so on in an ever receding heirarchy.
Perhaps at some levels there are gods who think they are the supreme being, and are convinced that they created themselves from thin air - but they are unaware of, or perhaps deny the existence of, even bigger gods, who have created an arbitrary number of similar supreme beings all under the impression that they are the only one of their class.
This could happen over and over again, in increasingly complex cosmoi, as an infinite regression; a fractal universe that just gets bigger and bigger the more you pull away from it.
Do I believe this? Not in the slightest- but I can’t refute it, either.
I am not my body, and I have functioned fine without my brain and body. It is common knowledge that some don’t consider, but it is still truth and easy to prove.
You probably mean something else, because it’s not proven. It might not even be provable, because the idea is created by the imagination and not from necessary interpretation of data.
No I mean it was proven years ago, but some still don’t understand.
A person goes into cardiac arrest and clinical dies. Later he returns to life.
He can then describe what happened while he was dead. Conclusion:
life continues after the clinical death of the body and brain. Many universities have
studied this and concur. Blind people can see while they are dead. Handicapped can move and do as they want, etc.
I would not say this if it were not true, there is much research, and I experienced it myself and no it was not an hallucination it was real as they all are. It is OK with me
if you don’t believe. Truth is truth no matter what anyone believes.
According to everything you have written no such thing happened, because no doctor said you had a heart attack, and you are definitely not qualified to diagnose yourself for such a malady. You went to bed at home. You woke up the next morning. Anything that happened between those times is your own rather vivid imagination.
Edited to add: Please take this hijack to another thread.
I feel compassion for you. Everything you say about me is false and you keep
repeating it over and over which means to me there is great fear going on.
But there is nothing to fear. God harms no one and hell does not exist.
