I feel I am displaying shameful ignorance here, but I plead my relative newbieness: what is a sock monkey? 😕 Also, forgive me if I’ve posted in the wrong board. It’s a bit of a challenge figuring out what goes where. Thanks. ---

A **Sock Munkey** is a poster here. A _sock puppet_, on the other hand, is an alternate identity created to provide reinforcement to a weak argument, by making it seem as if another poster is agreeing with you. Those are frowned upon as well, and the creation of another username will likely result in _both_ your usernames being banned. ---
