summer girl? sun-eyed girl? He saw her pounding on a vending machine with dark sunglesses… etc. when I attempted to look up the lyrics online, i got “cyanide girl”. I suspect “sun-eyed girl” but who knows. ---

I think it’s “sun-eyed girl.” It’s a strange little song, but I like it. ---

I am firmly for legislation to make it mandatory that all musicians put their lyrics publically and officially on the web. I’m tired of stuff like this irritating me. ---

Yeah, the “official” lyrics are inconclusive. I’m assuming it’s a word that only exists in the Becktionary and can’t properly be transliterated to English. When I’m singing along (which is _always_), it’s “summer.” ---

I don’t mean to ressurrect a long-dead thread or anything, but I was wondering if anyone had heard that he was actually saying “my _cyanide_ girl”? This, my brother maintains, is the reason it is ??-d out of the lyrics. I did not get a chance to ask him if he consulted the Becktionary, however.
