Of course. Hence my recommendation that they consider the possibility. Not a certainty. Different strokes. But if one prefers visits to the dentist over sex, serious review of their situation is NOT out of order.

That happens if you start a paragraph with 4 blank spaces. Discourse assumes you’re trying to enter a computer program, not prose.
So make sure your paragraphs don’t have extra spaces on the front. It looks like the OP intended to indent the first line of each paragraph as was commonly done in Ye Olden Tymes.

If you got a look at my dentist you’d understand why sex is never far from one’s mind in her presence. Not as good as the real thing, but something to think about while she’s professionally poking and prodding.

You put spaces at the start of paragraphs. Four spaces in a row triggers Discourse’s formatting for “code” (which I’m not particularly fond of, but that’s the way Discourse works).
If you are making paragraphs, don’t use spaces to indent.

I did what was basically standup once, and killed it, and that was better than some sex, in being longer. And in being a one time thing.
Holding my daughters for the first time might be better in a different way, but that was genetically programmed also.

If I’m sleepy, sleep is better than sex. If I have to poo or pee, then pooing or peeing is better than sex. Other than those, there is little of significance.

Making big money on a gamble, is pretty close. I hate to say it, but it is quite a rush. I can see how it might be a problem for some people in the same way that sex is. Not talking about me here. 😛
