Diogenea: the mental condition in which that a person believes that everything they say or wrote is factual. And if there is any discrepancy between their words and reality, it is reality that is off. When challenged, a person suffering from the affliction will often point to a previous utterance they’ve made as “proof” that his or her position comports with the real world. There is no known cure. ---

Pitting Dio is signaling behavior for dopers. It’s like “Hi Opal!” Or else, I don’t understand thoroughly what he’s beyond called out on. It’s a step above Four Chan memery. Straight Dope, congratulations on being slightly less self indulgent than Four Chan I think it’s lame to get angry about somebody in the left lane obeying the speed limit because you want to go faster.
