Yesterday I painted my neighbor’s bathroom after she set a fire in it. I just came back from her house having eaten 187lbs of BBQ…my “payment”. 🙂 I’m tired & about to go beddy byes with my latest book. I hope to stay awake to find out whodunnit! ---

12:45am Honestly, I’m tired as hell but I’m putting off going to bed. Why? Especially since I’m sleep-deprived and coming down with a cold? Because here lately I’ve been feeling pangs of longing for female companionship (it’s been over 9 months) and going to bed alone is the saddest part of the day. And no, it’s not the sex. I just want a gal to snuggle up to. It surprises me that I admit this openly. I’m generally not a whiner. I guess between the loneliness, the job frustration, the writer’s block, and being sick&tired, I just had to vent a little self-pity. All done. Now please cheer me up with a joke or something. 9:40 a.m. NYC Being not at all surprised that no one I work with has noticed the not-found-in-nature red streak I put in my hair. Have a meeting to go to in 20 minutes. My boss chose the time. She’s not here yet. I’m sure she’ll be late, she always is, it’s embarrassing. Regretting the fact that my spell check doesn’t work on this computer (I’ve told the techies, it’s some software conflict that makes my brain hurt), so if I misspellll anytheng, it wunt pik it up. Wishing I could skip this lame-ass meeting anyway because I do have a lot of work to do, and don’t want to waste time “troubleshooting” our database. Troubleshooting is one of my boss’s favorite words. Just finished my coffee. Must now decide if I have time to get into one of today’s projects, or if I should just do busy work until the meeting starts or is postponed. Considering calling **evilbeth’s** sex line 😉 ---
