If you like those kind of jokes, try to find a recording of ‘The Aristocrats’ joke sometime. P.S. if you find one online it’s really really not work safe, wait for home to play it. 😉 ---

I remember one of these from my childhood… I’ll tell it in condensed version… A man has a son who starts kindergarten. At the end of the year the son’s report card comes home loaded with praise from the teacher about how well he had done in school. The father is so proud that he tells his son he can have a present and asks him what he’d like. The son asks for a golf ball. The father is puzzled, but gives him a golf ball. At the end of first grade, again the boy has done exceptionally well and earned the praise of his teacher. The father tells the boy he can have a present, and asks what he would like. He asks for two golf balls. Dad thinks it is strange, but gives him the balls. The story progresses through each year of school with an ever increasing number of golf balls each year, until the kid is finally graduating from high school. The dad is hesitant but resigned, and tells the kid that he is so proud of him for graduating with a 4.0 GPA that he can have whatever he wants… and asks what he would like. The son surprises him by asking for a brand new, candy apple red Corvette. The father is so relieved at not having to get more golf balls that he goes out the next day and buys his son the car. He gives him the keys and the son goes out to test drive it. The father tells his wife that when the son gets back, he is going to ask him what the heck he did with the golf balls (or why he wanted them, or something)… And of course the joke ends with the kid dying in a car accident that very first test drive. ---
