The last few times I went to a strip club I noticed an interesting thing- the dancers all smelled like candy! And not the same candy, different kinds, one woman smelled like licorice, another like mint, another like chocolate, etc. I am NOT making this up, it was like they had candy-scented perfume or something. Anybody have any ideas? ---

Um, candy scented body spray? BTW, it’s not only strippers that use that. Women that might ACTUALLY sleep with you like that kind of stuff too. 😃 ---

Yeah, but has anyone else been around a woman who smelled like Good 'n Plenty (inside jokes aside) when you got near her? I’m willing to acknolege that this may be candy scented body spray, but the stip club was the first (and only place) that I’ve observed this. One time after one dancer did the whole ‘rub my face in her boobs’ bit, some of the body spray/oil/whatever must’ve gotten rubbed off on me, because when I came home, mom mom asked me, “Why do you smell like marshmallows?” I couldn’t help but laugh about it. ---

There are several kinds of perfume from Jovan that smell like candy. I just saw some in the drugstore. The line had “sweet puff” and such in it. One was supposed to be donut scented. The lollipop one smelled like a grape lollipop. One was “sugar cookie”. Seems to be a new thing. ---

I know the answer to this! It’s those body sprays from places such as Bath and Body Works or Victoria’s Secret. Vanilla, pearberry, raspberry, and peach are some of the scents they carry. There are also cheaper, yuckier versions of these scents. Strippers use those sprays because they’re cheap and you can spray them on frequently without overpowering people. They don’t want to use their regular perfume because they would run out too quickly. Also, the majority of strippers aren’t the classiest ladies and they probably think those body sprays are just as nice as perfume. ---

I was particularly pleased with **dantheman’s** “candy strippers” line. Predictable, perhaps. But I love a good pun. Hey, does anybody remember a line of perfumes/lotions that smelled like (I kid you not) stuff like dirt, and tomatoes? I’m guessing it didn’t do very well, but I specifically remember sampling the dirt scent and the tomato scent at a store in a nearby town.
